I love the masthead. It connotes associated themes and style and will relate to target audience. I also like the Splash and coverlines; they are quite cluttered, but this works well with this genre and style; the pink also looks good and fits in with the style. I would, however possibly move the splash up slightly to make it more eye-catching and noticeable.
